Timber protection

According to customer's request our timber products can be delivered untreated or vacuum-pressure treated. The untreated product can be dipped with Wolman Wood and Fire Protection GmbH's anti-stain product Sinesto-B, which provides temporary protection against discolouration of the wood (blue stain fungi).

Wood fungi and various wood pests cause damage as the wood loses its strength and commercial appearance. In order to prolong the outdoor life of wood products, wood must be protected against mould, wood fungi and wood pests. Vacuum-pressure impregnation in an autoclave provides the most effective protection for wood. We perform vacuum pressure impregnation with Impralit KDS, a chromium-arsenic-free wood preservative from Rütgers Organics GmbH.

All cutting, drilling i.e. mechanical processing should be done before impregnation. If this is not possible, the secondary treatment of cut edges and drill holes should be done (brushed) with impra®lit Cut-Guard
